ABB Inc. is hiring for an Inside Sales Support role based in the United States. You will execute daily customer activities, including order entry, tracking, and order management with local ABB units and agent accounts.

The position requires coordinating input from local units to ensure bids meet customer requirements and handling multiple projects with changing priorities. Some travel to customer locations or ABB sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of technical customer support experience in the Industrial, Utility or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• General knowledge of power transmission & distribution products/systems preferred.
• Previous experience with business to business customer support preferred.
• Must have knowledge and skill in utilization of computer databases; empower experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Execute daily customer activities including order entry and tracking with local business units and ABB groups.
• Coordinate with local units to track orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Support bid proposals to meet customer requirements across ABB groups and agent accounts.
• Process information on multiple projects and adapt to priority changes.
• Attend meetings to exchange information and analyze contract requirements.
• Investigate technical problems and establish procedures to avoid recurrences.
• Occasional domestic travel to customer locations or ABB sites.
• Initiate change orders and expedite collection of overdue invoices.
