Job summary

ABB Inc. in the United States is seeking an Inside Sales Support professional to manage order entry, tracking, and order management for local business units and agent accounts. This remote role requires US location and may involve travel to customer sites.

You will coordinate bids, ensure on-time delivery, and support multiple projects while collaborating with ABB groups and customers. A strong background in technical customer support and B2B experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field preferred.
• ,
• Minimum 5 years of technical customer support experience in Industrial, Utility or related fields.
• General knowledge of power transmission & distribution products/systems preferred.
• Previous experience with business to business customer support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize ABB's tools including product configuration, order entry and business systems.
• Coordinate activities with local units to track orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate input from local units to ensure bids meet customer requirements.
• Process information on multiple projects and adapt to priority changes.
• Attend meetings to review contract requirements and exchange information.
• Assist in investigating technical problems and establishing corrective actions.
• Duties may require domestic travel to customer locations or ABB sites.
• Initiate change orders and expedite collection of overdue invoices.
• May require periodic reporting for outstanding orders or Vendor Managed Inventory.
