Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team. The role offers flexible work arrangements with remote work or office options across the Central region, including Columbus, OH.

You will provide technical leadership for planning, design, and delivery of high-voltage overhead transmission lines, and mentor staff while coordinating across multi-disciplinary teams. Strong PLS-CADD, QA/QC, and client interaction skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• PE licensure required; NESC/RUS/GO-95 knowledge desirable.
• Strong knowledge of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and plans.
• Coordinate with clients and hold project meetings.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed across projects.
• Mentor staff and support multi-disciplinary teams.
• Travel to client offices and field facilities as needed.
