Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join the Power Delivery team. Flexible work options include remote or hybrid office locations across the Southeast, including Atlanta, GA. You will lead high‑voltage overhead transmission projects, mentor staff, and coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires 7–10 years in transmission project design/management, PE licensure, and strong PLS-CADD expertise. Travel to project sites and client offices is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with PE licensure preferred.
• 7–10 years in transmission project design/management leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of NESC, RUS, and GO-95.
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD and related design tools is required.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering of transmission projects up to 765 kV and drive project plans.
• Create and maintain project schedules with clear milestones.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams; lead meetings and reviews.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and safety standards are met throughout.
• Mentor staff and support PMs with scope, budget, and forecast updates.
• Travel to client offices, field sites, and vendor facilities as needed.
• Contribute to business development and proposal activities.
