Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team. This role provides technical leadership for planning, design, and delivery of high‑voltage overhead transmission line projects up to 765kV.

You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules, and support client interactions while upholding safety and QA/QC standards. Remote or office locations are available across the Pacific region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Professional Engineering licensure (PE) preferred or required where applicable.
• 5–7 years in transmission line design/management and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of NESC/RUS/GO-95 and transmission line fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Develop and manage project schedules; lead meetings with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with clients; ensure QA/QC adherence and safety standards.
• Mentor staff and support PMs with scope, schedule and budget.
