Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to lead high‑voltage overhead projects. You will guide planning, design, and delivery, using PLS-CADD and related tools, while coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

The role offers flexible work arrangements with remote or office work options across the Southeast. PE licensure and a strong English communication skill set are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
7–10 years’ experience in transmission projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
PE licensure required.
Strong knowledge of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD.
Excellent written and spoken English; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
Develop initial project execution layouts and schedules.
Coordinate with clients on status and meetings.
Ensure QA/QC procedures and safety standards are followed.
Mentor staff and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
Support PMs with scope, schedule, and budget.
Travel to client offices/field sites as needed.
