Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team. This role offers flexible work arrangements, including remote options or office-based work across the Rocky Mountain region, with Denver as a preferred location.

You will lead high-voltage transmission projects, coordinate with clients, and mentor staff, ensuring technical excellence and safety standards across project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering and PE licensure are required.
• 7–10 years in transmission project design/management and leadership.
• Understanding of NESC, RUS, and GO-95; strong PLS-CADD skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English; MS Office proficiency.
• Compliant with safety policies and workplace standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering for transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Develop initial project layouts and overall schedules.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and client meetings.
• Maintain project workflow and QA/QC adherence.
• Support PMs with status reports and forecasting.
