Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team. You will provide technical leadership for planning, design, and delivery of high‑voltage overhead transmission projects up to 765 kV, coordinating across multidisciplinary teams and with clients.

This role requires 7–10 years in transmission design/management, PE licensure, and strong knowledge of NESC/RUS/GO‑95, along with proficiency in PLS‑CADD and MS Office. Occasional travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
7-10 years’ experience in the transmission field of designing/managing projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
Professional Engineering (PE) licensure.
Understanding of the NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95.
Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation.
Solid command of English with good written and oral communication skills.
Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver transmission projects up to 765 kV.
Develop initial project execution layouts and establish efficient project plans.
Create and maintain project schedules and meetings with stakeholders.
Coordinate with clients on project status and deliverables.
Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and ensure QA/QC practices.
Travel to client sites/field facilities as needed.
