Job summary

WSP is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team. This role offers flexible work arrangements with remote options and office locations across the Pacific region, including Phoenix, AZ.

You will lead high-voltage transmission projects, coordinate with clients, and mentor junior staff. Responsibilities include scheduling, QA/QC adherence, and multi-disciplinary collaboration to deliver safe, high-quality designs up to 765kV.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 5–7 years in transmission design/managing projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• PE licensure required.
• Understanding of NESC, RUS, and GO-95.
• Strong command of English for written and oral communication.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Create and maintain a project schedule and lead project meetings.
• Coordinate with clients on project status and deliverables.
• Ensure QA/QC and safety standards across projects.
• Lead project teams and mentor staff; travel to client sites as needed.
