Maximus is seeking a Training Specialist to design and deliver training for FEHB/PSHB customer service representatives, ensuring accurate, professional support while safeguarding PII/PHI. You will collaborate with instructional design, knowledge management, and operations to create engaging materials and assessments.

The role is fully remote; it requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in training, with experience in LMS tools like Rise 360 or Storyline, and federal program knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 3+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Experience delivering new-hire training in a contact center or customer service.
• Rapid training development for new program launches or transitions.
• Facilitating systems, policies, and customer service training.
• Developing simulations, scenarios, assessments, and knowledge checks.
• Coaching learners and supporting remediation or skill development.
• Familiarity with LMS/eLearning tools such as Rise 360 or Storyline.
• Experience delivering training to remote or dispersed learners.
• Experience with federal or highly regulated programs handling PII/PHI.
• Knowledge of FEHB, PSHB, benefits admin or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop training curriculum and materials using adult learning techniques.
• Develop training scenarios and environment data to mirror production tools used daily.
• Perform needs analysis with partners and SMEs to design deliverables.
• Develop qualitative and quantitative assessments for learner competencies.
• Teach instructional programs and organize training materials for presentation.
• Create assessments to measure curriculum effectiveness and learner performance.
• Review and modify curriculums; propose policy/procedure changes as needed.
• Maintain training resources and LMS environment aligned with operational excellence.
• Adhere to established safety standards.
• Develop solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Contribute to organizational projects and goals.
• Communicate on complex or sensitive issues and draft responses.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
