Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Training Specialist to develop and deliver training for Customer Service Representatives supporting FEHB/PSHB programs. You will collaborate with Instructional Design, Knowledge Management, Operations, and stakeholders to create materials, exercises, assessments, and job aids for a remote workforce.

This role emphasizes coaching, data-driven evaluation, and ensuring CSRs handle PII/PHI securely while delivering accurate, professional support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Experience delivering new-hire training in a contact center or customer service environment.
• Experience developing simulations, scenarios, assessments, and knowledge checks.
• Experience coaching learners and supporting remediation or skill development.
• Familiarity with LMS and eLearning tools (e.g., Rise 360, Storyline).
• Experience delivering training to remote or geographically dispersed learners.
• Experience with federal or highly regulated programs, including handling PII/PHI.
• Knowledge of FEHB/PSHB benefits administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop training curriculum and materials using adult learning principles.
• Develop training scenarios and update environments so systems mirror production tools.
• Collaborate with partners to perform needs analysis and design deliverables.
• Develop assessments to measure learner performance and content effectiveness.
• Teach programs and organize materials for delivery.
• Evaluate and modify curriculums; align with policies and procedures.
• Maintain training resources and ensure safety and compliance.
• Communicate on complex or sensitive issues to leadership.
• Support remote learners and ensure high-quality training delivery.
