Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Training Specialist to design and deliver federal benefits program training for Customer Service Representatives supporting FEHB/PSHB. You will build curricula, create assessments, and collaborate with SMEs to ensure accurate, compliant content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 3+ years of professional experience in training or instructional design.
• Experience delivering new-hire training in a contact center or customer service environment.
• Experience creating assessments, simulations, and knowledge checks.
• Familiarity with LMS and eLearning tools such as Articulate Rise 360 or Storyline.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop training curriculum and materials using adult learning techniques.
• Develop training scenarios and environment data resources to mirror production tools.
• Collaborate with partners and SMEs to perform needs analysis and design deliverables.
• Develop qualitative and quantitative assessment tools to measure learner outcomes.
• Teach instructional programs and organize materials for presentation.
• Develop assessments to measure curriculum effectiveness and update courses.
• Review and modify curriculums; recommend policy/procedure changes.
• Maintain training resources and ensure alignment with operational excellence.
• Adhere to established safety standards.
• Develop solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Contribute to organizational projects and goals.
• Communicate on complex or sensitive issues and draft supervisor responses.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
