Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Training Specialist to design and deliver training for Customer Service Representatives supporting FEHB/PSHB enrollment. You will develop materials, scenarios, assessments, and job aids, and facilitate instructor-led virtual sessions for a nationwide remote workforce.

You’ll monitor progress, coach learners, and refine content to ensure accurate, compliant support while protecting PII/PHI. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in training are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in training or related fields.
• Experience delivering new-hire training in a contact center or customer service environment.
• Experience facilitating systems, processes, policies, and customer service training.
• Experience developing and delivering simulations, scenarios, assessments, and knowledge checks.
• Experience coaching learners and supporting remediation or skills development.
• Familiarity with LMS and eLearning tools (Articulate Rise 360, Storyline).
• Experience delivering training to remote or geographically dispersed learners.
• Experience with federal or highly regulated programs and handling PII/PHI.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop training curriculum and materials using adult learning techniques.
• Develop scenarios and update training environments to reflect production tools used daily.
• Collaborate with partners to analyze needs and design deliverables meeting quality standards.
• Develop assessment tools to measure learner competencies and quality standards.
• Teach programs and organize materials for delivery.
• Develop and evaluate curriculum effectiveness and update content accordingly.
• Maintain training resources and ensure alignment with operational excellence.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and handle sensitive information appropriately.
