Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Training Specialist to develop and deliver training for Customer Service Representatives supporting FEHB and PSHB programs. You will create curricula, assessments, and job aids; collaborate with SMEs; deliver virtual new-hire sessions; monitor progress and provide coaching; ensure handling of PII/PHI.

You will align content with program requirements, refine training resources, and contribute to organizational quality standards while supporting remote learners and feedback

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 3+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Experience delivering new-hire training in a contact center or customer service environment.
• Experience developing simulations, scenarios, assessments, and knowledge checks.
• Experience coaching learners and supporting remediation or skill development.
• Familiarity with LMS and eLearning tools (Articulate Rise 360 or Storyline).
• Experience delivering training to remote or geographically dispersed learners.
• Experience supporting federal or highly regulated programs with sensitive information.
• Knowledge of FEHB, PSHB, benefits administration or eligibility verification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop training curriculum and materials using adult learning techniques.
• Develop training scenarios and update environment data resources to mimic production tools.
• Collaborate with partners and SMEs to meet learner needs and quality standards.
• Develop assessments to measure competencies and standards.
• Teach instructional programs and organize materials for presentation.
• Develop and integrate assessment results into curricula.
• Review and modify curriculums; update policies as needed.
• Create training resources and maintain training libraries aligning with ops excellence.
• Adhere to safety standards and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Deliver remote training to dispersed learners and manage program launches.
