Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Time Entry & Compliance Analyst to safeguard fee recoverability by ensuring time entries and invoices follow client Outside Counsel Guidelines. The role collaborates with CRMs, billing specialists and clients to improve billing accuracy and compliance while supporting firm financial performance.

The position will work fully remote across multiple states, emphasizing training, timekeeper coaching, and cross-functional communication to adapt to evolving billing

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in paralegal or attorney roles focusing on insurance-related work or billing compliance.
• Experience in a law firm billing environment preferred.
• Strong analytical and narrative-crafting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Audit and compliance review of time entries and pre-bills to minimize audit exposure.
• Prepare invoice appeals with narratives grounded in client OCGs.
• Translate OCG requirements into timekeeper guidance and training.
• Deliver targeted coaching to timekeepers and cross-functional partners.
