Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Time Entry & Compliance Analyst to safeguard fee recoverability by ensuring time entries and invoices comply with client OCGs. This role partners with CRMs, billing specialists, and clients to improve billing accuracy and compliance.

The position will work fully remote across the United States. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of paralegal or attorney experience in insurance-related work or billing compliance, with strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a paralegal or attorney handling insurance-related work.
Experience on a billing compliance team in a law firm environment preferred.
Experience working as a bill auditor for an insurance company is a plus.
Advanced expertise of client Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCGs) and legal billing rules.
Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to coach across levels.

Responsibilities

Audit daily time entries and pre-bills for designated clients and recommend corrections.
Prepare and submit invoice appeals to recover fees.
Ingest and interpret OCGs; build timekeeper compliance rules.
Develop client-specific time entry guides reflecting current OCGs; train timekeepers.
Communicate guideline changes to timekeepers and cross-functional teams.
