Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to take ownership of Tier 2 emergency roadside cases, deciding on internal technician dispatch or third-party options. You will resolve technical issues across Ryder lease or contract vehicles, focusing on uptime and customer satisfaction.

Remote Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 3:00pm–11:30pm EST. Hourly rate is $28.00/hr with $1.00 or $1.50 shift differentials for 2nd/3rd shifts.

Qualifications

H.S. diploma or GED required.
ASE certifications preferred.
Technical certification helpful for role.
Five+ years in Ryder operations shop environment preferred.
Two+ years in Ryder operations customer service exposure preferred.
Four+ years in transportation maintenance required.

Responsibilities

Assess, troubleshoot and remedy vehicle roadside breakdowns with autonomy over cost and uptime improvements.
Assist with follow ups and service-provider interactions in partnership with RCRC.
Provide summaries and analysis to improve breakdowns, OEM quality, and warranty issues.
Share updated technical knowledge to the maintenance team via internal trainings and bulletins.
Mentor the Tier 1 call center team and provide status updates.
