Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish. The role resolves complex vehicle issues across Ryder lease/contract fleets, using diagnostic expertise to determine the best action and improve customer uptime.

The position operates on a remote schedule (Tuesday–Saturday, 3:00pm–11:30pm EST) with hourly pay of $28.00 plus shift differentials of $1.00 (2nd) and $1.50 (3rd).

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• 5+ years working in a Ryder Operations (shop) environment preferred.
• 2+ years in Ryder operations direct customer service exposure preferred.
• 4+ years in transportation maintenance required.
• 2+ years in technical diagnostic and customer resolution exposure required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, troubleshoot and remedy vehicle roadside breakdowns with full autonomy of decisions related to cost and uptime.
• Assist with follow ups, escalations and service provider interactions; provide summaries to maintenance team.
• Provide updated technical knowledge to the maintenance team from OEM and internal sources.
• Mentor the Tier 1 call center team and provide status updates and training.
