Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish, determining whether to dispatch internal technicians or third parties. The role focuses on resolving complex vehicle issues and improving uptime through expert diagnostics and customer communication.

Schedule: Tue–Sat, 3:00pm–11:30pm EST. Hourly rate starts at $28 with shift differentials.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• 5+ years in Ryder Operations (shop) environment preferred.
• 2+ years in Ryder operations customer exposure preferred.
• 4+ years in transportation maintenance required.
• Technical diagnostic and customer resolution experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and remediate Tier 2 emergency roadside cases with full autonomy.
• Coordinate with RCRC and providers to improve uptime and customer experience.
• Share updates and training to maintenance teams; provide technical bulletins and guidance.
• Mentor Tier 1 call center staff and participate in leadership meetings.
