third-party, address mechanical/electrical issues in Ryder fleet, and communicate with drivers to resolve breakdowns quickly. The role supports a remote schedule (Tue–Sat, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm EST) with an hourly rate of $28.00/hr plus shift differentials of $1.00–$1.50/hr.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Vocational/technical certification preferred (ASE).
• Five+ years in Ryder operations shop environment preferred.
• Two+ years in Ryder operations with customer service exposure preferred.
• Four+ years in transportation maintenance required.
• Two+ years in diagnostic/customer resolution exposure for Ryder fleet.

Responsibilities

• Assess and troubleshoot vehicle roadside breakdowns with full autonomy.
• Coordinate with RCRC and leadership; share summaries to improve breakdowns and OEM quality.
• Provide updated technical knowledge and training materials to the team.
• Mentor Tier 1 call center; participate in meetings and training.
