This role decides whether to dispatch internal technicians or third parties and resolves complex vehicle-related issues using strong maintenance knowledge. The position emphasizes rapid uptime and customer satisfaction, with a Friday-Monday schedule 5:00pm–3:30am EST and an hourly rate of $28.00 plus shift differentials.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred - ASE certifications.
• Five years or more in Ryder shop operations preferred.
• Two years in Ryder operations with direct customer service exposure preferred.
• Four years or more in transportation maintenance required.
• Two years or more in technical diagnostic and customer resolution exposure.

Responsibilities

• Assess, research, and remedy roadside breakdowns with autonomy.
• Assist with follow ups and service provider interactions with leadership guidance.
• Provide updated technical knowledge to the maintenance team and training as needed.
• Mentor the Tier 1 call center team and share status updates.
