Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technical Support Coordinator IV to take full ownership of Tier 2 emergency roadside cases. You will decide on internal vs external technicians, resolve complex vehicle issues, and communicate updates to the team.

The role requires strong maintenance knowledge and diagnostic skills across Ryder fleet assets. The position supports a Friday-Monday 5:00pm-3:30am EST schedule with hourly pay of $28.00 plus shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Strong technical troubleshooting skills for Tier 2 emergency roadside cases.
• Extensive knowledge of Ryder fleet assets and OEM platforms.
• Ability to communicate diagnostic findings clearly to drivers and dispatchers.
• Willingness to work alternate shifts including evenings, weekends, and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Own Tier 2 emergency roadside cases from start to finish with autonomy.
• Determine whether to send internal technicians or third-party providers.
• Provide updates and analysis to maintenance teams to improve uptime and reliability.
• Mentor Tier 1 CSR team and provide periodic training.
