Job summary

Meritech is seeking a Senior Territory Sales Manager to drive growth across the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Connecticut regions. This remote role requires up to 75% travel and a proven track record in selling into manufacturing or food processing sectors.

You will own the sales pipeline, build relationships with customers, and advance opportunities from discovery to close, with a base salary of $90,000 plus commission and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years’ experience in hunting new business, preferably in manufacturing or food processing.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (3+ years working in a relevant business field)
• Based in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Connecticut, with the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory

Responsibilities

• Own the sales pipeline by actively managing opportunities and forecasts.
• Build and maintain a network of sources for sales lead generation.
• Communicate with potential customers to identify needs and propose Meritech solutions.
• Conduct site visits to understand facility needs and ensure product fit.
• Manage aging opportunities and drive renewals where applicable.
• Provide periodic sales forecasts and updates to leadership
