John Deere is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for Construction Equipment in the San Jose, CA region. You will lead dealer relationships, drive sales of compact equipment and attachments, and coordinate with the territory team to support events and initiatives.

The role requires deep knowledge of the construction equipment market, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 75% within the territory. Remote work is currently available with potential training adjustments.

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction and/or off-road equipment industry and customer base.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of building positive relationships.
• Ability to understand Deere and dealer business and apply concepts to strategic and tactical conversations.
• Creative thinker capable of solving problems with innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with dealers to manage sales processes and drive solutions.
• Lead in the assigned territory to implement strategic initiatives with dealers.
• Drive achievement of sales and gross margin goals across targets.
• Organize and deliver training with dealers on input, production, and sales processes.
• Coordinate dealer use of product consultations and sales training resources.
• Travel up to 75% within the territory to engage dealers and customers.
