Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Territory Manager, Specialty Care Business Development to lead production underwriting for Human Services and Nonprofit accounts across New England. This remote role requires travel to agencies and brokers, strong sales strategy, and collaboration with internal partners to grow book of business.

You'll manage key agency relationships, develop business plans, and drive profitable growth while upholding Nationwide's service standards and underwriting guidelines.

Qualifications

• Multi-line commercial insurance underwriting experience, including underwriting authority.
• Human Services and Nonprofit industry-specific experience.
• Strong business development skills, with a production & agency management orientation.

Responsibilities

• Market, manage and underwrite commercial business with select agencies or brokers.
• Drive profit and premium to meet financial goals via sales plans and partnerships.
• Lead agencies by creating sales strategies and implementing processes to grow new sales and retention.
