Nationwide is seeking a remote Territory Manager, Specialty Care Business Development to drive commercial lines growth in Human Services and Nonprofit segments across the New England region and beyond. The role requires strong underwriting authority, industry experience, and a client-focused, entrepreneurial approach.

Responsibilities include market analysis, agency collaboration, and proactive pipeline development with regular agency visits.

Qualifications

• Multi-line commercial insurance underwriting experience, including underwriting authority.
• Human Services and Nonprofit industry-specific experience
• Strong business development skills, with a production & agency management orientation
• Five years of HS nonprofit accounts experience; underwriting Casualty lines incl. General Liability, Professional Liability, Abuse & Molestation

Responsibilities

• Monitor market conditions and research risk to win accounts.
• Analyze underwriting performance and propose improvement plans.
• Quote, price, and underwrite complex accounts to meet objectives.
• Manage workflow and ensure high-quality file handling.
• Lead agency visits and develop business plans with teams.
• Coordinate training and ensure service levels with partners.
