Travel to agency partners and 25+ visits yearly are expected; base in Eastern Time Zone or Mid-Atlantic/Northeast region preferred.

Qualifications

• Multi-line commercial insurance underwriting experience
• Human Services and Nonprofit industry-specific experience
• Strong business development skills with agency management orientation
• Five years of underwriting and sales experience in Human Services/Nonprofit segments

Responsibilities

• Monitor market conditions and competitive landscape to win accounts.
• Analyze risk quality and profitability; review agency books and trends.
• Quote, price, and underwrite complex or service-sensitive accounts within authority.
• Manage workflow and ensure file handling quality and timely delivery.
• Lead agency business planning with detailed performance plans and checkpoints.
• Market Nationwide products to drive agency results and develop business in targeted markets.
• Consult with agents to develop solutions and improve retention and profitability.
