Job summary

BECU is seeking a Manager Technology to lead engineering teams delivering member-facing financial platforms and services. You will guide origination, credit, deposits, and business banking initiatives while driving modernization and AI adoption.

You will mentor engineers, ensure Agile discipline, and partner with Product and Data teams to align technology with business goals. This role supports remote work from approved locations in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year leading technology teams.
• 4+ years IT experience in full stack design and development with Angular/React/Java Spring Boot/Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology delivery across origination, credit, deposits, and business banking initiatives.
• Guide high-impact initiatives like Credit Line Increase and Retail MAX.
• Mentor and grow engineering talent while promoting Agile practices.
• Maintain technical credibility with architecture, APIs, and code-level issues.
• Shape roadmaps with business partners to deliver outcomes.
