BECU is seeking a Manager Technology to lead member-facing software development across origination, credit, and deposits. You will guide multiple teams, balance competing priorities, and ensure delivery excellence in a fast-moving, transformation-focused environment.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product and architecture teams, and help drive AI-enabled solutions while maintaining strong engineering discipline and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience leading technology teams.
• 4 years of IT experience with full stack design and development including Angular, React, Java Spring Boot, Node.js.

Responsabilités

• Lead Technology Delivery across origination, credit, deposits, and business banking.
• Guide high-impact initiatives like Credit Line Increase and Retail MAX.
• Lead and grow engineering talent through coaching and performance management.
• Stay technically connected with architecture, APIs, integrations, and code-level issues.
• Create clarity by translating priorities into realistic team commitments.
• Advance engineering practices including CI/CD, testing, and automation.
• Drive modernization and AI adoption aligned to business objectives.
• Shape technology roadmaps with product and business leaders.
• Build cross-functional partnerships across Product, Data, Architecture, and Vendors.
• Communicate updates on delivery, priorities, risks, and milestones.
