Job summary

BECU seeks a Manager Technology to lead engineering teams delivering member‑facing digital origination, credit, deposits and small business banking platforms. You will translate priorities into clear roadmaps while strengthening Agile practices and AI adoption.

You will stay technically connected, mentor engineers, and partner with Product, data, APIs, architecture, and vendors to drive modernization across Cloud, DevOps, and modern architectures. Remote/onsite options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience leading technology teams.
• 4 years of IT experience with full stack design and development (Angular, React, Java Spring Boot, Node.js).

Responsibilities

• Lead Technology Delivery across digital origination, credit, deposits, and business banking.
• Guide high‑impact initiatives and plan future LPP programs.
• Lead and grow engineering talent with coaching and performance support.
• Stay technically connected with architecture, APIs, and code‑level issues.
• Create clarity by translating demand into realistic Agile commitments.
• Advance engineering practices, CI/CD, and continuous delivery.
• Drive modernization across Cloud, Data, API, and DevOps.
• Shape roadmaps and contribute to business cases and charters.
• Build cross‑functional partnerships with Product, data, architecture and vendors.
• Communicate delivery plans, risks, and milestones to senior leaders.
