Job summary
BECU is seeking a Manager Technology to lead engineering teams delivering member-facing software across digital origination, deposits, and banking services. You will blend technical depth with people leadership, guiding architecture, APIs, and delivery while fostering Agile practices.
The role emphasizes modernization, AI adoption, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, Data, and operations. A CS degree and proven full-stack experience with Angular, React, Java Spring Boot, and Node.js
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS or related field.
- 1+ year leading technology teams.
- 4 years of IT experience with full stack development and hands-on experience with Angular, React, Java Spring Boot, and Node.js.
Responsibilities
- Lead technology delivery for member-facing applications across origination, deposits, and banking services.
- Guide high-impact initiatives and drive modernization, AI adoption, and scalable engineering practices.
- Coach and develop engineers, foster Agile/Scrum practices, and ensure quality and timely delivery.
