Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a technically skilled Flex Support Specialist to provide post-sales support for the Flex Computer Aided Dispatch solution across Windows and Linux environments. You will handle diverse technical challenges, ensuring high user satisfaction while adhering to ITIL practices.

This role requires strong customer service, familiarity with cloud platforms, scripting, and remote support tools.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience in a technical support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and mobile device support.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, MC)
• Experience using help desk ticketing systems like Zendesk/ServiceNow/Jira.
• Familiarity with remote support tools and scripting (PowerShell/Python).
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Ability to leverage AI-enhanced productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first- and second-level technical support via phone, email, chat, and in-person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, OS, network, and app issues.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain end-user devices and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and support various software applications.
• Assist with network diagnostics and basic connectivity problems.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or SMEs.
• Adhere to ITIL or similar service management practices.
• Maintain flexibility for shift work and on-call rotations.
