Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Technical Flex Support Specialist to deliver post-sales support for the Flex Computer Aided Dispatch solution on Windows and Linux. You will troubleshoot, configure devices, and support software applications while adhering to ITIL practices.

The role requires customer-service excellence, security clearances, and flexibility for shift work. Remote work in the U.S. is supported with CJIS compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in dedicated technical support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and mobile devices.
• Excellent customer service skills and problem solving.
• Certifications (CompTIA A+/Network+, MC) are a plus.
• Experience using help desk systems (Zendesk, ServiceNow, Jira).
• Familiar with remote support tools and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Fluent with AI‑enhanced productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level technical support via multiple channels.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, networks and apps for the Flex solution.
• Configure and maintain end-user devices and peripherals.
• Install and support various software applications.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level teams as needed.
• Adhere to ITIL or equivalent service management practices.
• Maintain readiness for shift work and on-call rotations.
