Job summary

BD is a global medical technology company seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to resolve complex, time-sensitive issues related to ES 1.1x upgrades, from server to station. You will support internal peers, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and maintain knowledge of BD Medstation systems while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality customer service.

Remote opportunity within the United States, with extensive collaboration via phone and email.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft SQL experience and ability to write and analyze SQL queries.
• Experience with SSIS and SQL Reporting Services.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments and desktop administration.
• Familiarity with XML, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with VMware, IIS and Web Applications Administration.
• Active Directory and Group Policy administration experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and work under pressure.
• Remote position working from home office.

Responsibilities

• Provides CSC support for ES 1.1x upgrades and remediation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional ES 1.1x upgrade team for timely communication.
• Adheres to regulatory requirements specific to ES 1.1x remediation.
• Resolves cases and escalations promptly in a dynamic upgrade environment.
• Maintains and expands knowledge of ES 1.1x for proficient troubleshooting and support.
• Answers inbound calls, callbacks, and escalations on the 1.1x channel.
• Documents case notes clearly and maintains data quality (Salesforce).
• Communicates progress updates to customers and gathers feedback.
