Job summary

Health-E Commerce is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to serve as the primary technical authority on sales calls and RFPs, shaping scope, effort, and delivery timelines for integrated solutions. You will lead live product demonstrations and evaluate partner tech stacks for compatibility.

This role requires cross-functional leadership, deep API experience, and the ability to communicate complex tech to both non-technical partners and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Sales Engineering or similar role in B2B SaaS/fintech.
• Hands-on experience with API integrations and data exchanges.
• Familiarity with FSA/HSA/HRA platform ecosystems.
• Ability to explain complex tech to non-technical audiences.
• Experience owning client onboarding or technical implementation end-to-end.
• Proficiency with Salesforce for opportunity tracking and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical expert throughout the sales cycle and partner meetings.
• Inform solution design for FSASmartSpender, EaaS, DirectPay, and integrations.
• Support pre-sales demos and RFP responses with technical accuracy.
• Develop proficiency to run live demonstrations and articulate differentiation.
• Provide technical recommendations focused on revenue impact and cost reduction.
• Deliver scope, effort, and timelines for upselling and onboarding.
