Fortra is seeking an Associate Solutions Engineer to join our Sales team. You will drive pre-sales activities, understand customer requirements, and demonstrate product capabilities to deliver maximum value.

You will develop tailored proposals, support webinars and events, and build trusted relationships with clients while supporting business growth. The role aligns with a remote-first strategy focusing on US metro markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Technical, customer-facing or solutions-focused environment experience preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new products quickly.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities with a customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver presales activities, including product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with sales, customers, and partners on proposals and trials.
• Own the customer evaluation process, including trials and proofs of concept.
• Develop tailored solution proposals that address customer needs at all levels, including executives.
• Support webinars, tradeshows, and other content marketing activities.
