Job summary

Fortra is seeking an Associate Solutions Engineer to join our Sales team. You’ll work closely with prospective customers to understand technical and business needs, design tailored proposals, and demonstrate product capabilities to advance opportunities.

You’ll also contribute to webinars, tradeshows, and content development. In this pre-sales role, you’ll own the evaluation process, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and help shape solutions for strategic customers.

Qualifications

• Technical, customer-facing software experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills required.
• Ability to learn new products quickly and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales reps and collaborate with prospective customers.
• Conduct pain-discovery to understand needs and articulate solutions.
• Develop, present, and deliver high-impact product demonstrations.
• Own the customer evaluation process, including trials and proofs of concept.
• Identify objections and work with teams on remediation.
• Present customer proposals and demonstrate value to all levels including executives.
• Estimate services effort and help plan deployments.
• Represent the company at industry events and webinars.
