Fortra is seeking an Associate Solutions Engineer to join our Sales team in a remote-capable role focused on building talent in the New York–New Jersey–Connecticut tri-state area.

You will collaborate with prospective customers to understand their technical and business requirements, deliver tailored product demonstrations, and drive pre-sales success through trials and solution proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience in a technical, customer-facing software or solutions role.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver presales activities, including product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with sales and partners to understand customer needs and tailor proposals.
• Own trials and proofs of concept, address objections, and support deployments.
• Represent the company at industry events and contribute to webinars and content.
