Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Technical Director to join our Solutioning team. This role bridges client needs and BairesDev’s solutions, shaping tailored technical offerings and collaborating with sales and delivery to win opportunities.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in SDLC, 5+ years in solutioning/presales, and leadership experience across Cloud, Data, DevOps, or AI. Travel within the US is expected. Remote, with extensive cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Travel +40% within the US.
8+ years working in the SDLC building software with teams.
5+ years in solutioning/sales/presales/Solution architect roles, Manager/Director level desirable.
5+ years in one specific area of the SDLC (language, framework, or technology).
Experience leading teams delivering Cloud, Data, DevOps, or Testing solutions.
Subject Matter Expert in 1-2 verticals with deep domain experience (Desirable).
Experience with Cloud/DevOps/Infrastructure.
Must be located in the US.

Responsibilities

Meet with leads and prospects with the sales team to understand requirements and translate them into deliverables.
Travel to meet leads and attend events to support Sales as the technical expert.
Engage in technical conversations on software development and delivery at the solution level; define teams and approaches.
Collaborate with presales on decks and proposals for leads; estimate and recommend delivery approaches.
Provide consulting for best practices in software delivery with expertise in Data & Analytics, Quality, Cloud, Engineering, or AI.
