Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Technical Director to join our Solutioning team. You will bridge client needs and our solutions, shaping tailored technical offers and coordinating with sales and delivery teams to win new business.

This role blends presales depth with delivery know-how and requires travel to engage enterprise clients. You will define project scopes, assemble cross-functional teams, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and advise on best practices in software delivery across data, cloud, QA, and AI.

Qualifications

8+ years building software in SDLC with delivery teams.
5+ years in solutioning/sales/presales/solution architect roles.
5+ years leading software development teams.
Location: US-based and able to travel 40%+ within the US.
Subject matter expertise in 1–2 verticals desirable.

Responsibilities

Meet with leads and translate requirements into documents; articulate the value proposition of delivery models.
Travel with the sales team to meet leads and events as the technical expert.
Engage in technical conversations about software development and delivery at the solution level; ask the right questions to determine team composition.
Work closely with presales on decks and proposals for leads, estimating approaches to software delivery.
Provide consulting on best practices in software delivery with expertise in Data/Analytics, Quality, Cloud, Engineering, or AI.
