Job summary

Premera Blue Cross is seeking a Systems Analyst II to analyze business functions and processes, recommending solutions and coordinating with IT for new system implementations and improvements. The role involves collaborating in Agile teams, documenting requirements, and supporting testing and data analysis.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of business systems analysis experience, with preferred exposure to Agile/Scrum, SQL, and healthcare processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Two years of business systems analysis experience.
• Experience with Agile delivery practices (Scrum/SAFe) preferred.
• SQL data analysis, data validation, or reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent the business within an Agile delivery team; liaise with IT for new systems and enhancements.
• Document requirements as epics, features, user stories, use cases, and business rules.
• Apply cost-benefit analysis to evaluate solution options.
• Analyze current and future-state processes to identify pain points and efficiency gains.
• Support end users in preparing and executing test scenarios; assist UAT.
• Support data analysis and reporting to inform decision-making.
