Job summary

Premera Blue Cross is seeking a Systems Analyst II to analyze business functions, processes, and requirements, and propose effective solutions. You will work within an Agile delivery team, document requirements, and support testing and UAT to ensure alignment with business objectives.

The role emphasizes collaboration with business and IT, and improving processes through automation and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two (2) years of business systems analysis experience, including requirements gathering, business process analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Represent the business within an Agile delivery team; develop and maintain relationships with business stakeholders and liaise between business and IT for new system implementations and maintenance.
• Collaborate with business partners, IT partners, and delivery team members to identify, refine, and document requirements (epics, features, user stories, use cases, business requirements, functional requirements, UI specs, and business rules).
• Apply business process analysis and cost-benefit analysis techniques to evaluate solution options and support decision-making.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of Premera systems, applications, and business processes within the aligned domain.
