Job summary

Premera Blue Cross is seeking a Systems Analyst II to analyze business functions and processes, document requirements, and collaborate with IT to implement solutions. The role focuses on automation, data analysis, and test support within an Agile team.

You will work with stakeholders to define epics, features, and user stories, and leverage low-code solutions to improve efficiency across the domain. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of business systems analysis experience with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile delivery practices (Scrum/SAFe).
• Experience using SQL for data analysis and testing.
• Knowledge of healthcare or health insurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Represent the business within an Agile delivery team and liaise with IT for new systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements (epics, features, user stories).
• Apply cost-benefit analysis to evaluate solution options.
• Maintain knowledge of Premera systems and processes in the domain.
• Analyze current and future-state processes to identify pain points and efficiencies.
• Use data sources to validate requirements and troubleshoot issues.
• Support development of low-code/automation solutions to reduce manual work.
• Assist with test planning and execution; support UAT.
