Job summary

Premera Blue Cross is seeking a Systems Analyst II to analyze business functions and processes, propose automation, and support system implementations within an Agile team. You will work with business partners and IT to gather requirements, develop epics and user stories, and validate solutions that improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information systems, CS, business, or related field.
• Two years of business systems analysis experience, including requirements gathering and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Represent the business within an Agile delivery team and liaise between business and IT for new system implementations and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate to document requirements as epics, features, user stories, use cases, BRDs, FRDs, and UI specs.
• Apply cost-benefit analysis to evaluate solution options and support decisions.
• Develop knowledge of Premera systems and processes within the domain.
• Analyze current and future-state processes to identify pain points and opportunities for automation.
• Perform data analysis and validate requirements; support root-cause analysis and recommendations.
• Support development of low-code and automation solutions to reduce repetitive work.
• Assist with test planning, script creation, and user acceptance testing.
