Job summary

Pearson North America is seeking a Faculty Advisor for Mathematics and Statistics to guide instructors in aligning Pearson digital products with course objectives and student outcomes. The role emphasizes statistical expertise and college teaching experience.

The position involves delivering face-to-face or virtual trainings, creating tutorials, and collaborating across teams to maximize product impact in Mathematics and Statistics courses. Remote with travel as needed.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Statistics is required.
At least 5 years of full-time teaching experience at the collegiate level in Statistics.
Power-user experience with Pearson MyLab is required.
Online teaching and LMS experience are preferred.
Experience with data science or engineering is desirable.

Responsibilities

Advise on the right integration of Pearson digital products to support teaching and learning goals.
Consult on digital assessment, grading, and reporting strategies with MyLab.
Consult with customers on modifying or creating content.
Create department-specific training resources (videos, guides, webinars).
Collaborate with Product teams to advise on new platforms and features.
Partner with Sales on campaigns, calls, and demonstrations.
Use metrics and reporting to document recommendations and course design evolution.
