Job summary

Pearson North America is seeking a Faculty Advisor for Mathematics and Statistics who will align Pearson digital products with instructors’ goals. This role requires expertise and experience in teaching Statistics at the college level and a Master’s degree, with five years of full-time teaching experience.

You will train faculty at identified accounts, deliver workshops, and create tutorials to maximize product impact. Some travel and collaboration with multiple teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics is required.
• Minimum 5 years of full-time collegiate teaching in Statistics.
• Power-user experience with Pearson MyLab is required.
• Experience with multiple fields in Mathematics and Statistics preferred; data science desirable.
• Online teaching and LMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with course-level administrators to advise on Pearson product integration for teaching and learning goals.
• Consult on digital assessment, grading, and reporting strategies using MyLab.
• Consult with customers on modifying or creating content.
• Create training resources such as videos, guides, and live/recorded webinars.
• Collaborate with Product teams to advise on new platforms, tools, and features.
• Partner with Sales in campaigns, calls and meetings, demonstrations, and other enablement efforts.
• Use metrics and reporting to share recommendations and course design progress with stakeholders.
