Job summary

Pearson North America is seeking a Faculty Advisor for Mathematics and Statistics to align Pearson digital products with instructors’ learning objectives and student outcomes. The role requires college/university-level Statistics teaching expertise and strong MyLab knowledge, with the ability to translate skills across Mathematics and Statistics disciplines.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Statistics is required.
At least 5 years of full-time teaching at the collegiate level in Statistics is required.
Power-user experience with Pearson MyLab is required.
Knowledge/experience in multiple Mathematics and Statistics fields preferred; Data Science/Engineering desirable.
Online teaching experience and LMS experience preferred.
Experience with Copilot and other Generative AI tools a plus.
Ability to engage with international customers in different time zones a plus.

Responsibilities

Partner with course-level administrators to advise on the right integration of Pearson digital products for teaching and learning goals.
Consult on digital assessment, grading, and reporting strategies; provide deep understanding of MyLab.
Consult with customers on content modification or creation.
Create department-specific training resources such as videos, guides, and webinars.
Advise Product teams on development of new platforms, tools, and features.
Partner with Sales in campaigns, calls and meetings, demonstrations, and other sales enablement initiatives.
Provide written documentation of recommendations and evolution of course design and implementation with metrics.
