Job summary

Pearson North America is seeking a Faculty Advisor for Mathematics and Statistics to support academic accounts with expert guidance on implementing Pearson digital tools to meet learning outcomes. The role involves online and in-person trainings, collaboration with multiple teams, and a focus on empowering instructors across time zones.

Requires a Master's in Statistics, 5+ years collegiate teaching experience in Statistics, and strong MyLab knowledge.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Statistics or closely related field.
At least 5 years of full-time collegiate teaching in Statistics.
Power-user experience with Pearson MyLab.
Knowledge across Mathematics and Statistics; data science/engineering desirable.
Online teaching and LMS experience preferred.
Experience presenting at conferences and department meetings.
Ability to engage with international customers across time zones.

Responsibilities

Advise on optimal integration of Pearson digital products with instructional goals.
Consult on digital assessment, grading, and reporting strategies; instruct with MyLab.
Assist customers in modifying or creating content.
Create training resources (videos, guides, live/recorded webinars).
Collaborate with Product teams on development of new platforms and features.
Partner with Sales in campaigns, calls, and demonstrations.
Document recommendations and course design evolution using metrics.
