Job summary

Pearson North America is seeking a Faculty Advisor in Mathematics and Statistics to partner with course-level administrators and align Pearson digital products with instructors’ objectives. The role requires college-level statistics teaching expertise and MyLab proficiency.

You will develop trainings, consult on assessments, and collaborate with product and sales teams to drive effective course design and implementation across remote accounts.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics is required.
• At least 5 years of full-time collegiate teaching experience in Statistics.
• Power-user experience with Pearson MyLab is required.
• Knowledge in multiple mathematics/statistics fields; data science/engineering desirable.
• Online teaching and LMS experience preferred.
• Experience presenting at conferences; engaging with international customers is a plus.
• High achievement: Collegiate Teaching Award(s).

Responsibilities

• Partner with course-level administrators to advise on Pearson product integration aligning with teaching goals.
• Consult on digital assessment, grading, and reporting with MyLab best practices.
• Consult with customers on modifying or creating content.
• Create department-specific training resources: videos, guides, live/recorded webinars.
• Advise product teams on new platforms, tools, and features.
• Collaborate with Sales on campaigns, demonstrations, and enablement.
• Use success metrics and reporting to document recommendations and course design evolution.
