Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring a remote-based State & Local Government Account Specialist to manage AR receivables, account cleansing, and support growth initiatives. You will build rapport with major State & Local clients while partnering with Sales and internal teams to address needs.

Strong accuracy and discretion with financial data are essential. You will act as the primary contact for large state and local accounts, ensure timely invoicing, and maintain client portal compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years client service experience.
• Prior account management, contract management, and/or billing reconciliation and/or collections is a plus.
• Proven time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent professional written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work independently and prioritize daily activities in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as an account expert and point of contact for Pitney Bowes’ large State & Local clients.
• Prepare and submit accurate invoices in a timely manner.
• Manage portal billing activities and adhere to client portal requirements.
• Perform account maintenance and data cleansing to ensure accurate client information.
• Make informed decisions in line with company policies.
• Manage administrative account cleansing activities including PO and contract review, payment application and reconciliation, and fleet data management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business units to deliver excellent client support.
• Consistently meet KPIs, productivity metrics, and service levels.
• Collect past due amounts within the State & Local Government portfolio.
